The most popular destinations for Uber passengers in the US have been revealed – and many are places you would never expect to top the rankings.
The cab hailing app has been keeping track on the most-visited places by its drivers for each state since May 2017.
You might expect the entire list to be made up of tourist attractions, but many of the most popular requests are for tiny back-street bars, cheap pizzerias and even a small cafe.

In compiling the data, Uber excluded airports, major transport hubs and convention centres in a bid to find the most popular consumer destinations in each state.
For each top spot the destination had to be entered by name, Uber said.
The majority of the list is made up of sports stadiums, with AT&T Park, San Francisco, Coors Field, Denver, Wrigley Field, Chicago, and Fenway, Boston, the top destinations in their states.
In Montana, one of the most popular place for drivers to drop off passengers was Rocking R bar in Bozeman

The unassuming Cactus Bar in Boise is the most popular Uber destination in the state of Idaho
Shopping centres also proved to be big draws with the Dolphin Mall, Miami, and the Mall of America, Minnesota, also being named most popular in their states.
Meanwhile in New York, the most popular destination for Uber passengers was the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
The most popular time for people in the US to take an Uber was on Saturday nights at 11pm, and the most Ubers were booked on October 28, the Saturday before Halloween.
Also cities have varying times of day as New Jersey is the earliest rising city while those in Mississippi tend to stay out the latest.
Uber operates in 49 states across the US. South Dakota is the only state where you cannot use the taxi-hailing app, although it is hoped it will be available there soon.
